We enjoyed the comforts of home and the location in such a beautiful
area and so close to
Beaune. I loved the bakery and epecerie right across the street.
Everyone was so nice and
patient with the language. It was very helpful to have the book of
ideas for shopping and
wine tasting.
The countryside is so amazing here! We enjoyed cycling from village to
village.
Thank you for sharing your cooking utensils and books.

Our first trip to the Burgundy area of France. We loved coming through
the vineyard
countryside to get to your lovely home. Joe wants a bakery across the
street when he gets
back home - he was there almost every morning. We didn't arrive until
6.30pm so we opted to try the Aupres Du Cloche restaurant - that was a
special treat to begin our stay.
Our first morning was Saturday, Katie and I thoroughly enjoyed the
Market in Beaune. We
went back on Wednesday morning to get Strawberries and salad and were
so glad we had
experienced the big Saturday market.
Your home was a great place to stay and centrally located for day
trips, we'd love to
come back again. Thank you for having everything here we needed to
feel at home.

Thank you for your hospitality, our stay in Pommard was a lovely week.
We saw all you
recommended and enjoyed our meal at Aupres du Cloche on our last
night. We loved our pizza on Wednesday night from the Pizza Truck.
We tasted a lot of good wine and cheeses and particularly loved the
supermarkets, such a
variety of foods available. We will recommend Pommard to our friends,
thanks again

Our stay (3 weeks) in Pommard has been extremely comfortable and
enjoyable. The people in the village have made us feel welcome and a
little part of daily life. Isobel at the "deli"
Amelie at the Chablis cave next door and our friendly postmistress.
Dinner at Aupres du Cloche was of a high quality and reasonable price.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

We enjoyed our stay here over our Easter break very much. My husband
and I travelled here from our home in Zurich with our 3 and 1 year
old. We enjoyed a visit to Chateau de Pommard and the shop in town (Delphina
was very nice).
Your apartment is fantastic and the little touches are ones we rarely
find in rentals in
Europe, it made our trip that much easier.

We're off to Paris tomorrow and back home on Sunday, we've had a
wonderful trip and truly
enjoyed your lovely apartment. Very well furnished, great kitchen and
fantastic location.
From here we have travelled to Chamonix, Lyon, Colmar and all around
Bourgogne.
All in all a wonderful vacation

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home in France - milles
mercis - it was the
perfect compliment to our 9 day cycling tour of Beaune, Ste Sabine,
Semur en Auxois
and Vezeley, fantastic.
Your home is lovely - so well appointed and we very much appreciated
the welcoming treats,
quelle bonne bienvenue.

What a beautifully equipped apartment, perfect for our base from which
to explore the Cote de Beaune with our 2 children aged 1 and 4. If we
had known we would have booked a longer stay.
We came to Burgundy to increase our understanding and appreciation of
French wines. After many holidays in the wine regions of Australia
branching out has been great fun and educational. Thanks

Many times my husband a I found ourselves pinching ourselves to really
take in the
beauty of this area, we were helped by Premier Cru Pommard 2007, a
very understanding
vintage.
A great experience for all the family to see the villages and
vineyards - also to experience
the regions cuisine.
Your apartment is very cosy and has an excellent location.

We had a most enjoyable and relaxing time at 3 Clos de Pommard whilst
we explored the
surrounding regions. We visited many vignerons who were all helpful
and patient with our
staggered French. As "wine buffs" from Australia who normally organise
vacations around
wine regions in our own Country we decided it was time to branch out
into France, the
people here are so friendly, tolerant and willing to share their
knowledge of wine.

We have just completed 4 wonderful days in Burgundy. Your apartment
was the perfect home away from home for my husband and I and our
friends, the Hamilton's from Birmingham AL.
It is so nice to have the space, the well equipped kitchen, working
plumbing etc, I may
never stay in a regular hotel again. I appreciate your attention to
detail and all the
little conveniences that were provided - so thoughtful.

1st time to Burgundy and how generous you are to provide us this
wonderful apartment. Your kitchen is so well equipped - I thought it
was mine. As we aren't restaurant people the only way I know is to be
able to cook and I did, thanks you. Your attention to detail was
our comfort.
Pommard...where do I start...I wont bore you - it was fabulous.
There aren't many places in the world I would return to but Pommard is
there as is 3 Clos
de Pommard.

3 Clos de Pommard is now considered to be our home away from home in
France. Out of the hustle and bustle of Beaune...Pommard is the
perfect place to relax, sleep in, play
cribbage, cook (in your well appointed kitchen) for my sweet man,
read, sip excellent wine,
etc.
Thank you for your hospitality making this little sweet spot available
to the public, life
is indeed good. Warmest regards.

"We stayed at this
property for 6 nights. The property was located in a beautiful village
very close to Beaune, which for us was ideal. We enjoyed the city of
Beaune, but also enjoyed staying outside of the city. The property
itself was very clean and had all the amenities you could need. It was
like staying at a friends house rather than at a rented property. We
have a 9 month old baby and they provided all necessary things (baby
bed, high chair, food processor). We cant say enough wonderful things
about this property! The owners were very thoughtful and left details
about the village and Beaune, including recommended restaurants, wine
stores, etc. These tips were very helpful and just added to our great
experience. We would definitely recommend this property to our family
and friends!"

"During my 10-day stay I
found the apartment wanting for nothing. Giving great pleasure was the
unlimited, no-charge use of telephone calls to the USA, and to have a
computer at my disposal. The location of the apartment is ideal for
venturing out to other areas in Burgundy (and beyond). To be noted are
the train connections in Beaune (which is so close to Pommard), and the
advantage of renting a vehicle that meets one right at the train station
(Id recommend Avis). The apartment has a wonderfully stocked kitchen
(and a small grocery store and bakery right across the street). For
dining out there are local eateries, as well as a pizza truck that
visits the village on Wednesday evenings. The vineyards are spectacular,
with lots of walking/biking trails. Visit and enjoy!"

"My son and daughter-in-law and I stayed in Pommard for a week in
November. Despite the cold temperatures, the apartment was quite cozy
and homey. At 85 years old, I appreciated the comfortable amenities as
well as very easy access to the village. We could not have enjoyed the
stay more. Thank you.

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at 3 clos de Pommard. We loved exploring
the quaint village as well as the restaurant and bakery that were just
across the street. We will definitely want to come back during the
summer sometime to take advantage of the great bike paths that the area
offers. The apartment was beautifully furnished and equipped and lacks
nothing. We certainly enjoyed its comfort, cleanliness, and location.

"The property was excellently situated right in the heart of Pommard and
very close to Beaune. You could walk into Beaune for the evening and
this was a very pleasant 50 minute walk which we would highly recommend.
The only downside to the property was the fact that it was slightly dark
as the curtains needed to be kept drawn at the front, to shield from the
main road. But everything else about the property was excellent"
